4.1 Breast Developmen Teenage girls t : Breast will improve the looks and give psychological satisfaction. Due to the media exposure, well developed breasts is the dream of most of young adults. Although the size of the breast has nothing to do much with its primary function of breast feeding to child after delivery. Even the tiny breast is enough to produce milk for the child. Breast development is divided into five stages, which last on an average for 4 to 6 years.

Stage 1 - The breast is flat and the nipple is little raised.

Stage 2 - The breast bud, a small mound of tissue under the nipple appears. The nipple and areola (dark skin surrounding the nipple) stand out, grow larger and become darker.

Stage 3 - The breast bud grows; thus the breasts become more full and round. Girls may start wearing Branian to get used to Bra in future.

Stage 4 - The nipple and areola form a mound on top of the breast tissue. (Some girls do not go through this stage-4. )

Stage 5 - All girls reach full breast development, may require bra to support.

Few girls reach full breast maturity within a year after the breast bud appears, while others may take 5-6 years. Both the cases are normal.
Soft massage with normal oil over nipple, areola and breast before going for bath may improve the blood circulation as well as help in breast development. The massage may also aroused sexual feeling, and after marriage it may become a part of foreplay with husband. The foreplay by caressing, soft touch, massaging the breasts as well as kissing, sucking of nipples are quite normal by husband.
