1.6 H Vaginal Secretions in teenage :

Girls may worry unnecessarily about the normal vaginal discharge/secretion that often begins at puberty. Normal vaginal secretions, resulting from increased hormone levels in the blood, are experienced by most girls.

After menstruation, the discharge may appear as a sticky white or clear substance. Around the time of ovulation, it becomes more abundant and slippery in appearance. This will result into few white creamy stains on the crotch of panty.

Cause of concern: Vaginal secretion that is excessive or discolored, that has an unusually strong or bad odor, and/or that is accompanied by burning, itching, or irritation may indicate that a problem/ infection exists.

In such case a girl should tell her parent and see gynecologist.
