1.3 puberty Body / Sweat Odor :

Sweat Glands are mainly responsible for perspiration. They are activated by temperature, exercise and stress. Appropriate selection of clothes in different seasons will keep the body temperature in balance with the atmospheric temperature. If the difference in temperature between body and outside atmosphere is higher, then it will result into higher perspiration. Exercise increases the metabolic rate of the body, thereby increasing the body temperature and increased secretion of sweat. Stress and anxiety also result in the increase in perspiration. When an adolescent is emotionally charged, a hormone called adrenalin is released, which will result into more sweating. If you are the anxious or aggressive type adolescent, you have to learn to relax and cool yourself. The oil-like secretions from these glands are the culprits behind acne and smelly scalps.
