Sexuality identification starts when the child is still in the womb of mother through newage sonography even it is unlawful in India. As soon as the child is delivered, the first identity is its genitals, is it PENIS or is it VAGINA?
You can not identify gender of a newborn child, if you cannot see the genitals.

Journey of female egg - ovum from ovary to uterus is most important for conceiving and becoming pregmant. Meeting of male sperm with female ovum takes place here. Only one sperm will succeed to enter ovum and fertilise and became embryo. Thenafter it will slide down to Uterus and get embeded on the walls of uterus for next nine months.
